Medplus pharmacy and The HIIT squad hosts another HIIT Hangout fitness event at Ikeja City Mall

The HIIT Squad hosted another high octane fitness event on Saturday May 12th for fitness lovers and families at the Ikeja City Mall. After a successful inaugural event in March at The Palms shopping mall in Lekki, the High Intensity Interval Training events are gaining huge momentum in Nigeria.


Fitness is trending in Lagos and attendees at the Hangout were treated to2 hours of pulsating bodyweight HIIT workouts, Zumba and healthy refreshments, put together by The HIIT Squad - led by MajeAyida and MEDPLUS Pharmacy. The HIIT Hangout is a free event to promote healthy living and encourage Nigerians to make fitness a part of their lifestyles.

The event was attended by over 200 people, including ace comedian and entertainer Julius Agwu, who talked to the crowd about the impact of exercise in his life. He then proceeded to lead a short warm up.

This month’s hangout was proudly supported by Medplus Pharmacy, Kia Motors, Dana Air, Kamdora, Simply Green, Nothing To Do In Lagos, Scitec Nutrition, Spice TV, Valmont Water, Aquafina Water, Eden Lifestyle, Truppr and Nike.
