Man who claimed he was hired to assassinate Regina Daniels arrested by the police (photo)

A man who claimed he was hired to assassinate Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels was on Sunday arrested by men of the Nigeria police for attempted fraud, multiple reports claim.

The man identified as Opoma Terry was arrested for trying to defraud Hon. Ned Nwoko, the billionaire husband of the actress.

According to reports, the suspect at first said he tried defraud Ned Nwoko to the tune of  N700k after claiming he was hired to assassinate Regina Daniels but along the line had a change of mind and started opening up his intentions.

Then later admitted he is not an assassin, but a Yahoo boy who just needs his financial assistance to drop the habit.

Chief Ned Nwoko while playing along with him, requested for his account details for the said assistance and made a transfer of N400k to him.

But before then, he already alerted Access bank management and security operatives about the said assassin.

On his way to make the withdrawal, he was nabbed.
