A woman plunged 60ft to her death moments after sharing a touching moment with her boyfriend atop a waterfall in the Peak District, an inquest heard.

Seconds before she fell, Hannah Lowe and her partner were chatting about how happy they were and excited at the prospect of buying their first house together the next day.

The 29 year-old was an experienced hill walker and climber and had taken on the challenges of some of Britain's biggest mountains with her family and boyfriend Adam Stanaway.

''Staring at women’s breasts makes men live longer''

A study done by a German scientist, Karen Weatherby, and published in the New England Journal of Medicine, has revealed that staring at women’s breasts is healthy and also elongates the life span of men.

The study, which was carried out over a period of five years, involved 500 men, half of whom were instructed to stare at women’s breasts in a lustful manner for no less than 10 minutes every day.

The other half were instructed to abstain from doing such.

Drama in court as couple fights over house keys

There was a mild drama at the Customary Court, Agege, Lagos on Tuesday after a wife refused to release the house keys to her husband on the order of the court.

The husband, Otunba Fatunwase Aderemi, who is the petitioner, is begging the court to dissolve his marriage to Esther Aderemi and grant his request to take custody of his 6-year-old daughter.

The husband, at the last hearing also begged the court to order his wife to allow him access to the house since he paid the rent.

The court denied the petitioner’s request to take the child into his custody as the child was still very young and ordered the respondent to release the house keys to the husband pending the outcome of the matter.


At today’s hearing, the husband told the court that his wife flouted all orders given to them and had continued to make more trouble with him.

Ja’afaru Ahmed orders investigation into allegations of criminal activities in Ikoyi prison, commends undercover journalist

The Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Ja’afaru Ahmed, has confirmed he has set up a panel to probe Ikoyi Prisons, now known as “Ikoyi Custodial Centre”, following an investigation by Fisayo Soyombo, an undercover journalist.

Soyombo spent eight days as an inmate in Ikoyi Prison, to track corruption in Nigeria’s criminal justice system.

He documented experiences on “drug abuse, sodomy, bribery, pimping and cash and carry operations” at the facility. In a statement on Tuesday night, Ahmed said those found guilty of the allegations would be punished and denies the planned arrest of Soyombo. Instead he called for more investigation like that.
